Khama
Star (Rap) Play Song

Khama is her stage name and her style has the “Khama” touch. This versatile West Indian flavors her music with a little Caribbean flavor as well as a strong New York type realness and a hard-core delivery style. She captures in the music the reality of the times, and merges this with a little of the past and raps into the future at times. The self-effacing, self-proclaimed “STARR OF THA SOUTH” has graduated into the breath of fresh air the game’s lacking. Khama writes her own lyrics and entertains the idea of writing lyrics for other artists as well. Khama has been on The Rap Game on 99 Jamz with Big Lip Bandit and Super Cindy. She has entered numerous talent shows, including the ones at Miami- Dade College, Brevard Community College, Mike Sherman Talent Search competition and the new Teen Club, The Warehouse – hosted by Larry Dogg and Big Lip Bandit. She’s got her mother’s velvet voice and showed her musical interest as young as 8 by mouthing the tunes of Bob Marley, keeping up on the latest dancehall trends and entering poetry and essay contests, one being the “Share The Dream Black History Month Essay Contest hosted by Mr. Jerry Graves general manager of Coca-Cola Enterprises, Harvey E. Cohen general manager of 39 WDZL-TV, and Charles S.
