Bridget Hughes (aka Baby Katie)

Bridget is inspired by Frankie Smith who is her friend and mentor. Frankie introduced hip-hop in the early 80s with his hit single Double-Dutch Bus. Bridget is always playing with rhythms and phrases to capture the humor in everyday life. She is currently a 9th grader at The Grier School, a well-known all girls boarding school in western Pennsylvania. She is presently working on a new hip-hop song titled Radio Radio and is toying with a rap song in Chinese. She has been a professional actress in a Chinese film that was nationally televised throughout China tilted Beijing ZhiLian. Baby Katie, Bridget's stage name came from her first role in Chinese television, playing as star's younger self, Baby Katie. Bridget's interests other than music include her activities in hosting local TV shows, choreography, dancing, soccer, HAM radio (kb3ntv is her call sign) and being an honors A student. She is light hearted with her friends and has traveled to France , skied the Swiss alps, enjoyed Thailand for 4 weeks (especially meditating in the monasteries), lived in China for 6 months and loves being an American

Composed and performs “Eyes Filled with Christmas” (copyright2002) performed live Hershey Park, song aired WEEU, Y102.5, 105 radio and several TV cable stations and local stores during holiday seasons. Composed and performs “Chiropractor, Chiropractor” (copyright 2005) a Rap song, recorded jointly w/ Frankie (the Double Dutch Bus) Smith, 2005. Writes compositions on guitar.
